Meet Dr. Sullivan

Daniel Sullivan, Jr., DDS 

Dr. Sullivan, Jr. graduated from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, where he received the Quintessence Publishing Award for Outstanding Restorative Dentist. He then completed a three-year post-Doctoral Program in Advanced Prosthodontics at the University of Southern California (USC). During his residency, he also received the Alex Koper Scholarship as the Outstanding Prosthodontic Resident. The Prosthodontic Department at USC provided Dr. Sullivan, Jr. with a wealth of knowledge and experience in a scientific-based approach to clinical dentistry. He has been practicing in the Washington, DC area since 2006.

Dr. Sullivan is a member of the ADA, VDA, D.C. Dental Society, the Northern Virginia Dental Society, the American College of Prosthodontics, and the Academy of Osseointegration.

Dr. Sullivan has been recognized by his dental colleagues and by his patients as a top Washington, D.C. area dentist by both Washingtonian Magazine and Northern Virginia Magazine.

As a Prosthodontist, he is familiar with the diagnosis and treatment of complex full mouth rehabilitation, using crowns, bridgework, osseointegrated dental implants, and esthetic restorative dentistry. Dr. Sullivan, Jr. is highly skilled in managing the care of his patients who require a multidisciplinary team approach for optimal results.

Dr. Sullivan is Invisalign certified.

Dr. Sullivan Jr. grew up in McLean, Virginia. He attended the St. Albans School and graduated from the College of William and Mary.  In his free time, he enjoys coaching his children’s baseball and basketball teams as well as spending time on his photography and golf. He and his wife Rachel reside in Arlington, VA, and have two children, Danny and Tyler.

Dr. Sullivan helps Dr. Lenz as the team dentist for NHL’s Washington Capitals, NBA’s Washington Wizards, WNBA’s Washington Mystics, and NBA G-League Capital City Go-Go’s.

Dr. Sullivan provides primary game coverage for the  Washington Wizards.
